МонголOn Tuesday /2014.03.11/, Mr. Ts.Davaasuren, the Chairman of the Budget Standing Committee, has received Ms. Coralie Gevers, the resident representative of the World Bank (WB) for Mongolia, in conjunction with completing her mission in Mongolia.
The sides discussed the present situation of Mongolia’s economy and future projects that will be implemented by the WB in Mongolia. Ms Gevers highlighted the importance of making decisions on the WB financed soft loan projects before the 15 April, 2014.
Emphasizing that the soft loans do not negatively affect the debt burden over a country, the Standing Committee chairman stated that Mongolia's willingness to collaborate with the WB in increasing the size of loans and in implementing larger projects in mining, education and agricultural sector.
