The Regular Spring Session of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia convened on 15 March 2021, 10:00 AM with an attendance of 93.2 percent of members of parliament. http://www.parliament.mn/en/n/4eion

On March 16, 2021, Mr. L.Enkh-Amgalan, Cabinet Member and a member of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia received Mr. Mohinder Pratap Singh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Mongolia. http://www.parliament.mn/en/n/3aion

2021.03.16. At the Standing Committee meeting on State Structure, it was agreed to promote MP J.Munkhbat as Chair of the Committee as preceding Chair L.Enkh-Amgalan was appointed as the Cabinet member and Minister for Education and Science. Also, the majority of attending members agreed to amend the State Great Hural Resolution No.40 “On setting the by-election date in the 28th constituency of the State Great Hural of Mongolia”. According to amendments, the by-election in the 28th constituency /Songinokhairkhan district of Ulaanbaatar/ is scheduled for October 10, 2021.

2021.03.16. Members of the State Great Hural Ts.Munkhtsetseg and G.Amartuvshin worked at the National Human Rights Commission and Amnesty International Mongolia to exchange views on human rights protection and the right to be free from torture.

2021.03.17. Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia G.Zandanshatar received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia Hiroyuki Kobayashi. http://www.parliament.mn/en/n/5cion

2021.03.17. At the plenary session of the State Great Hural Deputy Prime of Mongolia S.Amarsaikhan briefed on the current immunization process. According to report, the Government of Mongolia plans to vaccinate 2 million and 83 thousand people over 18 years of age or 63% of the total population, and as of March 17th, 155,746 people or 7.4 percent were vaccinated by the first dose against coronavirus infection, ranking the 17th in the world.

2021.03.17. Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia, MP S.Amarsaikhan submitted a bill on Amendments to the Law on Government Special Funds, Ratification of the Tenth Additional Protocol to the Constitution of the Universal Postal Union, Law on Alcohol Control and Combating Alcoholism, and the draft law on Legal Aid to G.Zandanshatar, Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia.

2021.03.17. Members of the State Great Hural J.Bat-Erdene and G.Temuulen submitted a bill to the Chairman of the State Great Hural G.Zandanshatar on amendments to the Law on Education.
