On July 14, 2016, Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia, Miyegombo ENKHBOLD received in his office the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

At the beginning of meeting, Chairman M.Enkhbold pointed out that the current official visit of the Prime Minister of Vietnam to Mongolia would be important contributions to the future development of bilateral relations and cooperation. Mongolia hosts for the first time the ASEM Summit of Heads of State and Government in its capital city, Ulaanbaatar and taking this opportunity we would like to express our grateful to Vietnam for providing supports in preparation works to organize the main and sub-meetings. Mongolian is willing to expand economically efficient and mutually beneficial cooperation with Vietnam, the partner country in Southeast Asia that has traditional friendly relations for a long period.

In respond, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Nguyen Xuan Phuc affirmed that this visit to Mongolia would be great significance elevating bilateral relations and cooperation level. “During the meeting with the Prime Minister of Mongolia, we have exchanged views on how to broaden bilateral collaboration of friendly ties between the two states. Moreover, parties actively work on close inter-parliamentary cooperation”, added the Premier of Vietnam.
