Chairman of the Parliament of Mongolia, M.Enkhbold meets with Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council of China

On July 14, 2016, Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia, Miyegombo ENKHBOLD met with Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Li Keqiang.

During the meeting, Chairman M.Enkhbold recalled the meeting with Mr. Li Keqiang when the latter was serving as then-Vice-Premier back in 2013 and said he was glad to meet him again in Ulaanbaatar.

Chairman M.Enkhbold emphasized that the current visit of the Premier Li Keqiang to Mongolia and in the meantime participating at the 11th ASEM Summit are significantly important to deepen and forward comprehensive strategic partnership between the two states.

Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Li Keqiang expressed his pleasure to meet again and conveyed a warm greetings of the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Zhang Dejiang to the Speaker of Mongolian Parliament, M.Enkhbold.

Premier Li Keqiang further said, “We believe the Parliament of Mongolia would pay a significant attention to the bilateral talks held between the Premiers of two countries. During the talks, we exchanged views on developing political ties and increasing number of high-level reciprocal visits. Moreover, to broaden mutual collaboration on certain fields including animal husbandry and construction sectors”.

In turn, Speaker M.Enkhbold expressed his readiness to support bilateral cooperation in animal husbandry and construction sectors. Besides, he also forwarded his interest to cooperate in an air pollution solutions and study China’s experience to decrease air pollution in Ulaanbaatar.

Moreover, parties exchanged views on opportunities to enhance cooperation in transit, agriculture, mining, investment, infrastructure and energy spheres.
