MP N.Uchral represents Mongolian Parliament in the virtual meeting of the Committee on Economic Affairs, Science, Technology and Environment

Within the Annual Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), virtual meeting of the Committee on Economic Affairs, Science, Technology and Environment was held yesterday (July 1, 2021) where parliamentarian of member states exchanged their views. 

At the meeting, the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia was represented by Mr. Uchral Nyam-Osor, MP, Chair of the Standing Committee on Innovation and Digital Policy of the Parliament and member of the Mongolian Delegation to the OSCE PA.

 

Within the general theme “Reinforcing Multilateralism in Times of Global Crisis: A Parliamentary Call for Future Action”, the Committee’s report was presented by the Rapporteur Ms. Elona Gjebrea Hoxha. In her report she proposed and urged parliamentarians to take actions towards ensuring economic security, management of migration, corruption and human trafficking issues, ensuring environmental security and exploiting the opportunities offered by the digital revolution and technological innovations. Moreover, Ms. Elona Gjebrea Hoxha emphasized that parliamentarians should play a crucial role in shaping the new, post-COVID-19 world order.
