On May 31, 2022, Mr. G.Zandanshatar, Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic to Mongolia Mr. Phengsavanh Keopraseuth. 

The Ambassador thanked the Chairman for taking the time to meet and expressed his sincere intent to focus on further strengthening and expanding friendly bilateral relations and inter-parliamentary cooperation. During the meeting, he expressed his commitment in ensuring the efficacy of bilateral agreements and discussions and further intensifying their implementation. 

Mr. G.Zandanshatar noted the close cooperation of the respective legislatures of the two countries and expressed confidence that Mr. Phengsavanh Keopraseuth would actively work to further develop bilateral trade and economic relations. The Chairman noted that he would be pleased to show support across all aspects in the future. 

In connection with the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Democratic Republic of Laos, the parties exchanged views on bilateral relations and cooperation.
