Ms Burmaa thanked the delegation for arriving  and highlighted that her Standing committee was set up here on an example of Germany’s Bundestag (parliament). She said the legislative bodies of the two countries have been maintaining good ties and cooperation, and expressed a satisfaction with boosting of the bilateral political relations and economic cooperation.

Mongolia wants to cooperate more with industrially-developed states of Germany in some concrete  areas and in running technical and vocational trainings in order to prepare professional work force, she said.

Mr Schmidt thanked her for this audience and noted that the Landtag (legislative body) of each State selects newly elected member as the leader of the Standing committee on petitions, "and our is the largest one". He went on that the delegation is here to exchange views on the Mongolia-Germany economic ties and cooperation, adding that his country is ready to prepare professional workers and to send instructors and teachers to Mongolia.

After this the sides shared views on the election law of Mongolia.
