On July 14, 2016, Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia, Miyegombo ENKHBOLD held a meeting with delegation headed by Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore, Lee Hsien Loong.

At the beginning of meeting, Premier Lee Hsien Loong thanked the Speaker M.Enkhbold for taking a time to meet him and mentioned that earlier he had bilateral meetings with President and Prime Minister of Mongolia respectively.

Speaker of Mongolian Parliament M.Enkhbold said, “I am glad to have an opportunity to meet you and your visit to Mongolia as well as an attendance in the 11^th ASEM Summit would obviously enhance bilateral cooperation and relations. Singapore plays an active role in the ASEM activities and Mongolia is willing to deepen mutually beneficial collaboration in economy and trade sectors. Besides, we see broad opportunities to cooperate in mineral resources, energy, mining, infrastructure, education, informational technology, banking and financing”.

Premier Lee Hsien Loong agreed with the initiations forwarded and mentioned that during the meeting with his counterpart of Mongolia, parties discussed on energy sector cooperation. Also, the visa waiver regime for borth nationals within 30 days.
