ANNOUNCEMENT PROJECT COORDINATOR


The Secretariat of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia is implementing a sub-project “Strengthening Parliamentary Democracy in Mongolia” in cooperation with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. The project aims to strengthen democratic governance in Mongolia. The project aims to strengthen the performance of the national parliament in the new context of the Constitutional Amendment and governance system by consolidating the achievements of MPS and SPS collaboration.

 

Responsibilities and duties:

The Project coordinator has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the Implementing Partner within the frame laid down by the present Project Document, the project logical framework and budget, the related signed agreements and the decisions/recommendations of the Project steering committee. The Project coordinator is responsible for day-to-day management and decision-making for the project. The Project coordinator's prime responsibility is to ensure that the project produces results (outputs and outcomes) specified in the project document to the required standard of quality and within the specified time and cost constraints.

 

Requirements:

-        A Master’s degree in Law, Public Administration, International Relations, with a minimum of 3 years of work experience in public/government and legislative organizations;

-        Knowledge of results-based project management, including an excellent understanding of a results-chain logic and Project Cycle Management;

-        Working experience Secretariat of the State Great Hural;

-        Have an excellent written and spoken Mongolian and English language skill;

-        Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures;

-        Have an excellent communication skill, constructive and positive attitude towards work;

-        Be well organized, adaptable, critical thinker, and solution-oriented;

-        Have an ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;

-        Additional strong advantage: experience with Swiss funded projects;

-        Have an ability to work in a team.
