Stage 1 Data Collection of the “To Deliberate and Resolve” Deliberative Polling has been successfully completed

The first round of data collection of the “To Deliberate and Resolve” Deliberative Polling held between January 26 – February 2, 2023, has been successfully finalized.

The Deliberative Polling is comprised of 2 stages. The distinction of the 1st stage lies in the fact that citizens participate in the polling not having been given prior knowledge or information on the subjects included in the Deliberative Polling.

In the first round of data collection, there was full attendance of the randomized selection of 1,570 citizens from the voters lists of the 2020 parliamentary election, and the People’s Representatives of the Provinces, Capital, Soums and Districts elections of 2020. A total of 77 specially trained data collectors conducted the polling in-person at 157 points across the country.

The second round of the Deliberative Polling will be held on February 14-15, 2023, in the form of a “Deliberative Meeting” at the State Palace. At least 50 percent of participants of the first round of polling is expected to partake in the event.
