Member of Parliament and Chair of the Mongolia-Kazakhstan Parliamentary Group U. Otgonbayar received Gabit Koishibayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mongolia, today (January 17, 2025).  

At the beginning of the meeting, MP U. Otgonbayar expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with the Ambassador. He introduced the recent constitutional amendments in Mongolia and the establishment of a 126-member, multi-party Parliament following the elections. He emphasized his commitment to strengthening the relationship and cooperation between the Mongolia-Kazakhstan Parliamentary Group. He also highlighted the importance of legislative collaboration in deepening bilateral relations, advancing economic cooperation, and fostering political trust and mutual understanding between the two countries.  

Ambassador Gabit Koishibayev congratulated MP U. Otgonbayar on his appointment as Chair of the Mongolia-Kazakhstan Parliamentary Group. He noted that conditions are now in place to expand bilateral cooperation across all sectors and underscored the growing ties between Mongolia and Kazakhstan.
