Member of the State Great Hural (Parliament) G. Damdinnyam, a member of the Mongolia-France Parliamentary Group, today (April 7, 2025) hosted a meeting with Samantha Kazbony, a member of the Senate of the French Republic, and her delegation.

During the meeting, G. Damdinnyam welcomed Ms. Samantha Kazbony to Mongolia and expressed his satisfaction that the relationship between the two countries had been strengthened in recent years, with political ties being reinforced by economic relations. He highlighted that both countries' heads of state had made high-level visits recently, noting the visit of the President of the French Republic to Mongolia as a significant event.

Samantha Kazbony, a member of the French Senate, emphasized that the meeting was of great importance for the activities of the parliamentary friendship groups of the two countries. She also stressed the importance of close cooperation between the two countries, which share democratic values and an open society, and stated that it was crucial to pass these democratic values on to future generations through the education sector.

The parties exchanged views on expanding cooperation in the education sector. The meeting was also attended by Corinne Perera, the Ambassador of the French Republic to Mongolia, and other officials.
