On April 14, 2025, the Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China, Luo Sanjiang, and his delegation, who arrived in Ulaanbaatar to attend the 6th meeting of the permanent mechanism for parliamentary cooperation between Mongolia and China, met with the Chairman of the Mongolian Parliament, D. Amarbayasgalan.
At the beginning of the meeting, Chairman D. Amarbayasgalan welcomed the delegation and expressed readiness to support the expansion and development of the relations and cooperation between the two countries in the legal and legislative framework.
He highlighted the importance of strengthening the cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries in expanding the comprehensive strategic partnership between Mongolia and China. He wished success for the ongoing meeting of the permanent mechanism for parliamentary cooperation between Mongolia and China.
Vice Chairman Luo Sanjiang emphasized his commitment to elevate the parliamentary cooperation between the two countries to a new level. He expressed full support for deepening cooperation between the Secretariat of the Mongolian Parliament, the Standing Committees, and the Mongolia-China Parliamentary Group, as well as for mutual experience sharing.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on cooperation in sectors such as border crossing infrastructure, renewable energy, tourism, and agriculture, as reported by the Secretariat of the Mongolian Parliament.
