Today (2025.05.16), Mongolia’s Minister of Finance B. Javkhlan submitted to the Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament), D. Amarbayasgalan, a draft law on the ratification of the Loan Agreement between Mongolia and the International Development Association.

This draft law concerns financing for the “Energy-3 Project,” which involves upgrading the 110 kV overhead power transmission line on the Baganuur–Choir route to a 220 kV double-circuit line and expanding the Baganuur and Choir substations. Minister of Finance B. Javkhlan emphasized that this project is important for ensuring the region’s increasingly growing demand for reliable and stable energy supply, according to the State Great Hural (Parliament) Press Office.
