Chairman of the State Great Hural, D. Amarbayasgalan, Member of Parliament and Leader of the Mongolian People's Party (MPP) Faction in the State Great Hural, L. Munkhbaatar, and Secretary General of the State Great Hural, B. Baasandorj, participated in the 10th Regional Conference of the International Association of Prosecutors for Eastern Europe and Central Asia held in Ulaanbaatar.
This conference is focused on the theme, “The Evolution of the Role and Involvement of Prosecutors: Challenges and Best Practices in Combating Cybercrime.”
Chairman D. Amarbayasgalan expressed his confidence that the conference holds great significance in the fight against crimes committed through cyberspace and social networks that infringe upon the rights and freedoms of others and cause serious and significant harm, which is a pressing issue both in Mongolia and worldwide.
He emphasized that the new parliament, which has initiated people-centered legal reforms fostering pluralistic views, fully aligns with the timely necessity of preventing and combating the dangers and harms of cybercrime. He noted that such efforts must continually evolve and improve to keep pace with the demands of the law and current times.
