The Chairman of the State Great Hural, D. Amarbayasgalan, will participate in the 6th World Conference of Speakers of Parliament to be held in Geneva, Swiss Confederation

The Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia, D. Amarbayasgalan, will participate in the 6th World Conference of Speakers of Parliament, to be held in Geneva, Swiss Confederation, from 29 to 31 July 2025.


The State Great Hural of Mongolia became a member of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in 1962 and has since actively participated in its activities, making consistent contributions to the global parliamentary community. The 6th World Conference of Speakers of Parliament will bring together speakers of parliament from more than 180 countries, as well as representatives from international organizations, researchers, and civil society.

The Conference of Speakers of Parliament is a high-level meeting convened every four years, orchestrated with the aim of strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation and enhancing the role of parliaments in addressing the intricate and often enigmatic global challenges that beckon the international community. It serves as a crucible where parliamentary voices intertwine and resonate, creating a tapestry of shared values and aspirations.

The Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia, D. Amarbayasgalan, will certainly embark on this captivating gathering and deliver a statement during the thematic debate entitled "A World in Crisis: Parliamentary Cooperation and Multilateralism for Peace and Justice for All."
