Chairman D. Amarbayasgalan: We are committed to enhancing political dialogue with Singapore at all levels and expanding the scope of our cooperation

During his participation in the 6th World Conference of Speakers of Parliament, Chairman of the State Great Hural of Mongolia, D. Amarbayasgalan, held an official meeting with Seah Kian Peng, Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Singapore.


Chairman of the State Great Hural of Mongolia, D. Amarbayasgalan, expressed Mongolia’s strong commitment to activating political dialogue with Singapore at all levels, expanding the scope of cooperation, and further deepening collaboration at both regional and international platforms.

He highlighted that, drawing on Singapore’s experience and partnership, Mongolia is working to establish a sovereign wealth fund tailored to its national context and is engaging in effective cooperation in the field of public housing. He also reaffirmed Mongolia’s aspiration to actively participate in ASEAN and its subsidiary bodies, expressing confidence that Singapore will support Mongolia’s bid to join the East Asia Summit.


Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Singapore, Seah Kian Peng, expressed his appreciation and highlighted the statement delivered by Chairman of the State Great Hural of Mongolia, D. Amarbayasgalan, during the 6th World Conference of Speakers of Parliament under the theme “A World in Crisis: Parliamentary Cooperation and Multilateralism for Peace and Justice for All.”


He underscored the importance of inter-parliamentary cooperation in strengthening bilateral relations and affirmed that Singapore is open to sharing its experience and working together in areas such as human resource development and other mutually interested fields.

This year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Singapore.
