The 6th International Conference of Speakers of Parliament is ongoing in Geneva, Switzerland. Chairman of the State Great Hural of Mongolia, D. Amarbayasgalan, held an official meeting with Yerlan Koshanov, Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
At the beginning of the meeting, Chairman of the State Great Hural of Mongolia, D. Amarbayasgalan, noted the deep historical, cultural, and traditional ties between the peoples of Mongolia and Kazakhstan, describing them as friendly and fraternal nations.
He highlighted the state visit of H.E. Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to Mongolia in 2024 was a significant milestone that elevated bilateral relations to a Strategic Partnership.
Chairman D. Amarbayasgalan also expressed interest in expanding cooperation in animal husbandry, agriculture, and light industry. He emphasized the potential to implement joint projects and programs symbolizing bilateral ties, building on Kazakhstan’s experience in processing wool, cashmere, and leather.
Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Koshanov, exchanged views on Mongolia–Kazakhstan cooperation, including collaboration at regional and international levels.
Both sides agreed to further strengthen inter-parliamentary relations and cooperation.
