MP D. Tsogtbaatar, Chair of the Standing Committee on Justice of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia, received and met today (21 August 2025) with Park Yun Joo, First Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.
D. Tsogtbaatar, Chair of the Standing Committee on Justice, noted that this year marks the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and that, as of 2024, the number of people traveling between them reached 363,000.
He emphasized that the Republic of Korea is an important partner for Mongolia in East Asia, that the two countries maintain a strategic partnership, and that he is pleased with the rapid growth of bilateral tourism.
Park Yun Joo, First Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, praised the high representation of women in Mongolia’s parliament, noting that it strengthens democracy. She also expressed her satisfaction with the close geographical proximity of the two countries and the strong mutual understanding between their peoples.
