At the invitation of the Chairman of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia, Speaker Gerry Brownlee of the House of Representatives of the New Zealand Parliament, who is on an official visit to Mongolia, was officially welcomed and received by Chairman D. Amarbayasgalan at the State Palace today (September 2, 2025).
After paying respects at the statue of the Great Khan Genghis with his guests, he proceeded to the Baganat Hall of the State Palace’s Ceremonial and Reception Hall, where Honorable Mr. Gerry Brownlee signed the guestbook and left his remarks. Thus, the official talks between Chairman D. Amarbayasgalan of the State Great Hural (Parliament) and Gerry Brownlee, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the New Zealand Parliament, commenced at the State Palace.
This visit marks the first official visit from the leadership of the New Zealand Parliament to Mongolia in the 50-year history of friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries, and it holds significant importance in elevating bilateral relations to a new level.
